A Philosopher in the Making

Thank you, Arsen M., Studio City, CA for your review of Starbucks in Paris, FR.

Let me begin by saying, I love this review. Though it appears that English is not your first language - please excuse the presumption - you’ve done a stellar job conveying your subpar experience. It’s been about 20 years since I’ve had a caramel frappuccino but I know it should not taste like water! You didn’t want “wiping” cream, they gave it to you anyway. Annoying! (Honestly though, if you’re going to get that sugary drink, just get the whip, the calories are inconsequential at this point.) So, I agree, “its just the bucks i think.”

The highlight of the review for me is the wonderful insight you’ve given us in “You cant drink large drink with small straw.” It reminds of me something Confucius used to say, “When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, do not adjust the goals; adjust the action steps.” Or, “Do not impose on others, what yourself do not desire.” Or, “I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand.” Or, “Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” Women are going to be tattooing your words on their lower backs in no time, Arsen M.

My one gripe is why on earth you would go to Starbucks in Paris, France, EUROPE. You can go there in Studio City ANY DAY. Any. Day.

Four out of five stars.

See you next Tuesday.
